Set Up Your Email Signature

Questcom has a signature generator that creates a correctly formatted email signature for you. Once generated, you can add it to both the Outlook desktop app and Outlook on the web.


Part 1 — Generate your signature

  1. Open Chrome and go to https://signature.questcominc.com.
  2. Fill in the following fields:

    Field What to enter
    First Name Your first name
    Last Name Your last name
    Title Your job title
    Email Address Your username — @questcominc.com is already filled in
    Cell Phone Your mobile number
    Office Select Jacksonville, Las Vegas, or Phoenix
    Extension Your desk phone extension
  3. The preview below the form updates live as you type — check it looks correct.

  4. Click Copy Signature to Clipboard.

Your signature is now copied and ready to paste.


Part 2 — Add the signature in Outlook Desktop

  1. Open Outlook on your Windows laptop.
  2. Click File in the top-left menu.
  3. Click Options.
  4. In the left panel, click Mail.
  5. Click Signatures….
  6. In the Signatures and Stationery window, click New.
  7. Name the signature Default and click OK.
  8. Click inside the large text area at the bottom of the window.
  9. Press Ctrl+A to select any existing text, then press Del to clear it.
  10. Press Ctrl+V to paste your signature.
  11. Under Choose default signature, set both New messages and Replies/forwards to Default.
  12. Click OK, then OK again to close Options.

Your signature will now appear automatically on every new email and reply.


Part 3 — Add the signature in Outlook Web

  1. Open Chrome and go to https://outlook.office.com.
  2. Click the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Click Mail in the left panel, then click Compose and reply.
  4. Scroll down to the Email signature section.
  5. Click inside the signature text box and press Ctrl+A to select any existing content, then press Del to clear it.
  6. Press Ctrl+V to paste your signature.
  7. Tick Automatically include my signature on new messages.
  8. Tick Automatically include my signature on messages I forward or reply to.
  9. Click Save.

Your signature is now active in Outlook on the web.


Updating your signature

If your title, phone number, or office changes, return to https://signature.questcominc.com, generate a new signature, and repeat Part 2 and/or Part 3 above — replacing the old signature with the new one.
