Sign In to M365 on Windows

Connecting your Windows laptop to your Microsoft 365 account lets Windows apps recognise your identity, enables OneDrive sync, and makes signing into Office apps seamless.

What you need

  • Your company email (yourname@questcominc.com) and password
  • Microsoft Authenticator already set up on your phone
  • Your Windows laptop (logged in as a local user or an existing account)

Step 1 — Open Windows Settings

  1. Press Win+I to open Settings.
  2. Click Accounts.

Step 2 — Add a work account

  1. In the left sidebar, click Access work or school.
  2. Click Connect.

A Microsoft sign-in dialog will appear.

Step 3 — Sign in with your company account

  1. Enter your company email: yourname@questcominc.com
  2. Click Next.
  3. Enter your password and click Sign in.

Step 4 — Approve the two-factor prompt

  1. Check your phone for a notification from Microsoft Authenticator.
  2. Tap Approve.
  3. Windows will complete the connection automatically.

Step 5 — Confirm the connection

Back in Settings > Accounts > Access work or school, you should now see a tile showing your questcominc.com account with a briefcase icon.

Connected

Your device is now registered with the Questcom Microsoft 365 tenant. OneDrive and other M365 apps will use this account automatically.

Signing into Windows with your M365 account (optional)

If IT has configured your laptop for Azure AD Join, you can sign into Windows itself with your @questcominc.com credentials instead of a local password. Contact IT if you would like this enabled.
