Accessing Outlook in Chrome

You can read and send company email from any Windows computer using Outlook on the web — no app installation required.

What you need

  • Chrome browser
  • Your M365 account (yourname@questcominc.com)
  • Two-factor authentication already set up on your phone

Step 1 — Open Outlook on the web

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Go to https://outlook.office.com.
  3. If prompted, sign in with yourname@questcominc.com and your password.

Step 2 — Complete the two-factor prompt

After entering your password, Microsoft will send a notification to your phone via the Microsoft Authenticator app.

  1. Pick up your phone.
  2. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app (it may already show a notification).
  3. Tap Approve.

You will be returned to the browser and signed in automatically.

Didn't get a notification?

Open the Authenticator app manually. You should see a pending approval request. If nothing appears after 30 seconds, tap Resend in the browser.

Step 3 — Pin Outlook to Chrome for easy access

To avoid typing the URL every time:

  1. With Outlook open in Chrome, click the address bar.
  2. Click the star icon (☆) on the right of the address bar.
  3. Name the bookmark Outlook and choose your bookmarks bar.
  4. Click Done.

Signing out

If you are on a shared machine, always sign out when finished.

  1. Click your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Sign out.
  3. Close the browser tab.
